I am excited to share an update on the upcoming Big Sky, Montana ski trip with Tampa Bay Ski Club!

Trip Dates: March 29 – April 4, 2027 
Trip Length: 6 nights (5 ski days)

Ikon Destination

Big Sky is known as the “Largest Ski Resort in North America,” with over 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 vertical feet, and terrain for a wide range of ability levels. The resort is located between Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport and Yellowstone National Park, with plenty of skiing, dining, shopping, and optional activities nearby.

All registrations will be done directly through the Tampa Bay Ski Club website.  A $300 per person deposit is required. Accommodations are assigned in the order deposits are received, so early sign-up gives you the best lodging choices.  The trip maximum is 35 people.   If you are interested, I would not wait too long, as the trip may fill quickly.    

When completing the application, please note that you are with the Rochester Ski Club.  The application process has been glitchy- let me know if you submit and have trouble and I will get in touch with them.  The trip pricing includes six nights of lodging, possible transfers (but not guaranteed) and group social activities.  See flyer for various accommodation options and pricing.  A $550 airfare credit/deduction is available for those not using the Tampa Bay group airfare. We will likely each need to book our own airfare, but I can make flight suggestions and help coordinate transfers. If we get 10 or more people interested, I can ask about group airfare and transfers out of Rochester.

Some of us have already purchased Ikon passes. The Ikon Base Pass includes 5 days at Big Sky. For reference, recent Big Sky day ticket pricing has generally ranged from approximately $100–$150 for advance-purchase weekday tickets, $120–$180 for typical in-season weekday tickets, and $200+ during peak holiday periods. Discounted lift tickets can also be handled later through Tampa Bay Ski Club at final payment.

If you are unsure of your roommate situation, you can indicate that on the application, and I can keep my ears open for others looking for a roommate.
